Radiacode Zero stays reliable when others overrange
Most consumer Geiger counters available on the market have an upper measurement limit of around 1 mSv/h. Under normal, everyday conditions, radiation levels this high are rarely encountered. However, in the event of a severe industrial or nuclear accident, radiation levels in the environment can rise hundreds or even thousands of times above this threshold, even at significant distances from the source.
In such conditions, most consumer detectors enter an overrange state and stop providing meaningful readings. Radiacode Zero measures radiation levels up to 9 Sv/h (9,000 mSv/h) — a measurement range 9,000 times wider than that of typical consumer Geiger counters. Radiacode Zero continues to deliver reliable, actionable data in high-radiation emergency scenarios where conventional consumer detectors go blind.

A Modern Everyday Radiation Detector
Radiacode Zero, under normal conditions, is a modern personal radiation detector designed for everyday use, offering a count rate up to 15 times higher than that of conventional Geiger counters. The device is built using modern electronics, including a scintillation crystal, a photomultiplier tube, and a high-performance ARM Cortex-M4F processor, providing high sensitivity and stable, reliable measurements.
