Standalone use
The portable Radiacode radiation detector is designed to assess the radiation situation in real time. Additionally, the instrument automatically logs measurement results and events. This allows for analysis, including with standard software on a smartphone or personal computer. The dosimeter is suitable for use on the ground, with samples of construction materials, and with specially selected and prepared food or soil samples.
The Radiacode 10X and 110 series are designed for long-term autonomous use. Results can be presented at any time in the form of dose rate estimation, count rate, accumulated dose, and absorbed radiation energy spectrum. The assessment and accumulation of data are not affected by changes in display mode. The instrument can store accumulated data in its internal memory for up to the last thousand hours of observations.
In addition to autonomous operation, the portable radiation detector can be connected to a personal computer via a USB cable or to an Android or iOS smartphone via Bluetooth. Connection to an Android smartphone is also possible via USB OTG. When connected to a computer or smartphone, the accumulated data is transferred to an external device, and the newly received data is transferred there immediately without being stored in the built-in memory.
To connect the device to a computer, it is necessary to install the Radiacode software. The program is available for download at https://space.radiacode.com. With the help of the Radiacode program, you can transfer data to a computer, view it, and manage the portable radiation detector.
For a detailed description of the program interface, refer to chapter "Connect to PC".
To work with a smartphone, install the Radiacode app on it, available at https://space.radiacode.com and Google Play, or use the QR code:
