Connecting Radiacode to Windows

Radiacode devices can be connected to Windows computers using either a wired USB connection or via Bluetooth BLE, depending on the application used. No password is required for any connection method.

 

Connection Methods:

1. Bluetooth BLE Connection:

  • No Password Required: Radiacode operates using the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol and does not require a password to connect.
  • How to Connect:
    • Open a compatible application that supports Bluetooth connectivity (e.g., BecqMoni).
    • Use the application's built-in device search to find your Radiacode device.
    • Select your device from the list to establish a connection.

 

2. Wired USB Connection:

  • Use a USB cable to connect your Radiacode device directly to your Windows computer.
  • This method is supported by the Official Radiacode Application.

Supported Applications on Windows:

 

1. Official Radiacode Application

  • Connection Method: Wired USB connection only.
  • Compatibility Note: For some versions of Windows, you may need to enable compatibility mode for older Windows versions to ensure proper functionality.

Important Notes:
  • No Password Needed: When connecting your Radiacode device through any of the applications, you do not need to enter a password.
  • Device Discovery: Always search for and connect to your Radiacode device through the application itself, not via the Windows Bluetooth settings.
  • Enabling Compatibility Mode:
    If you encounter issues running the Official Radiacode Application on your Windows system, try enabling compatibility mode:
    • Right-click on the application executable.
    • Select Properties.
    • Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
    • Check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select an earlier version of Windows.
    • Click Apply and OK.

 

Steps to Connect via Bluetooth BLE using BecqMoni:

 

1. Install BecqMoni:

  • Download and install the BecqMoni application from a trusted source.

 

2. Enable Bluetooth on Your Computer:
