Device Does Not Turn On

If your Radiacode device does not turn on after a prolonged period of inactivity, it may have entered battery protection mode. This feature prevents the lithium battery from discharging to levels that could potentially damage it.

Possible Symptoms:

• The device does not power on.
• The device does not begin charging when connected to a power source.
• The LED indicators do not illuminate.

Steps to Reactivate the Device:

1. Connect to a Power Source:

• Action: Plug the device into a reliable power outlet using the appropriate USB or USB Type-C charging cable.
• Observation: The blue LED indicator should light up, indicating that the device is receiving power.

2. Reset the Charging Process:

• Action: Disconnect the power cord from the device.
• Action: Quickly reconnect the power cord back to the device within a few seconds.

3. Verify Charging Status:

• Observation: The device should now begin charging normally.
• Check: Ensure that the blue LED remains illuminated or that any charging indicators (if available on your model) are active.

4. Attempt to Power On the Device:

• Action: Press the power button to turn on the device after it has charged for a few minutes.
• Observation: The device should power on and function as expected.
